Bowlabs operates the Bistro digital menu platform from Barcelona, Spain. During our pre-incorporation beta, the service is run by the bowlabs founding team while Bowlabs S.L. is being registered. Privacy and data protection
We process personal data in compliance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 (LOPDGDD), and other applicable laws. When you browse a restaurant's public menu on Bistro, we may process: • Usage analytics (for example page visits and dish detail views), including the restaurant identifier, browser language, whether you arrived via QR scan, and the dish viewed. These events help restaurants understand how their menu is used. • A strictly necessary cookie that remembers your language preference (bowlabs_i18n_redirected). • Information stored locally in your browser (order list and allergen filter preferences) that stays on your device and is not sent to our servers as account data. We do not require you to create an account to view a menu. We do not use advertising cookies or sell personal data. Some infrastructure providers (hosting, CDN, error monitoring, analytics pipeline) may process technical data on our behalf. Where data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, we rely on appropriate safeguards as required by law. You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection by contacting us at the email above. If you are in the EU/EEA, you may also lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD, www.aepd.es) or with your local supervisory authority. If you are outside the EU/EEA, you may have additional rights under your local laws.
Cookies policy
This menu uses only strictly necessary cookies to remember your language preference (bowlabs_i18n_redirected). We do not use advertising or profiling cookies. Because this cookie is essential for the menu to work as intended, no prior consent is required under Spanish LSSI-CE for this strictly necessary use. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but the menu may not remember your language. Usage analytics described in the privacy section are not stored in advertising cookies on your device.
Terms of use
Access to and use of this menu are subject to these terms. You agree to use the service lawfully and in good faith. Bistro is currently offered as an early beta to a limited set of restaurant partners. There is no formal service agreement with diners; menu availability and features may change without notice. Menu content (dishes, prices, allergens, opening hours, and other information) is provided by the restaurant operator. Bowlabs provides the technology platform only and does not guarantee that menu content is complete, accurate, or up to date. We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
Intellectual and industrial property
The Bistro platform, its software, design, and bowlabs branding are protected by intellectual and industrial property rights owned by bowlabs or its licensors. Restaurant-specific content (names, dishes, images, and descriptions) belongs to the respective restaurant operator or their licensors. Reproduction or reuse without permission is not allowed except as permitted by law or by the rights holder.
Disclaimers
The menu is provided "as is" during our pre-incorporation beta. We strive to keep the platform available and secure but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, and there is no service-level agreement. Links to third-party services (for example Google review pages) are provided for convenience. We are not responsible for third-party content or practices.
Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by Spanish law. Any dispute relating to the Bistro platform shall be submitted to the courts of Barcelona, Spain, unless mandatory law requires otherwise. Nothing in these terms limits non-waivable consumer or data-protection rights you may have under the laws of your country of residence.
